- Savair’s investment advice is always based in the context of a strong-understanding of the overall long-term plan.
- We use comprehensive and holistic analysis of the investment goals and objectives – as part of the robust process to create an individual investment policy statement (IPS) which includes inputs from many individual facets.
- Within this sits the fundamental portfolio blueprint – the strategic asset allocation (SAA)
- Having this in place creates the foundation for a successful investment process.
Alternative investments
- We have the Experience and understanding of the diverse alternatives investment landscape – to navigate this with the needed expertise to mitigate many of the downsides, and to successfully decrease market correlation within a strategic asset allocation
- Funds (PE, VC, Hedge Funds, Real Estate) as well as Direct Deals that we are able to source through a unique and high quality network (from clients to investment partners) that want to partner with us
- We have the tools and capabilities to integrate very specific strategies in an overall portfolio strategy, and even to incorporate existing investments (i.e PE) into a comprehensive strategy (and not piece meal)

Portfolio management
We will offer this on a case-by-case basis, as agreed to between Client and Savair
As a Swiss licensed asset manager we demonstrate the robustness of our processes and systems, and have the capability to manage portfolios discretionarily (i.e. on behalf of and according to an agreed strategy) for our clients.
In practice, we see this as an implementation choice as part of the final steps in our comprehensive process. The choice is combined with the individual view on how active to approach the investment strategy of an asset-class. Depending on those outcomes we tend to work with a mix of portfolios that are most optimal to achieve the desired results, and which includes passive (ETF) solutions, or to work with best-in-class external managers to make specialized tactical decisions, and if it makes sense to potentially use our capability to manage a specific allocation.
